Tyler Martin is a American college football linebacker for the UMass Minutemen football team. He previously played for the University of Arizona.
Early life and high school
Martin attended Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was rated as a three-star recruit and held offers from schools such as, Syracuse, Boston College, Nebraska, Virginia. Ultimately, Martin committed to play college football for the Michigan Wolverines. However, he flipped his commitment to play for Don Brown and the Arizona Wildcats.
College Career
After redshirting in 2022, Martin transferred to UMass following Don Brown. He played in 8 games and totaling 14 tackles in 2023. During the 2024 season, Martin played in 10 games, recording 27 tackles.

AJ Hairston is a American college football quarterback for the UMass Minutemen football team.
Early life and high school
Hairston attended Monarch High School in Pompano Beach, Florida. He was rated as a three-star recruit and held offers from schools such as, Miami, Western Michigan. Ultimately, Hairston committed to play college football for UMass.
College Career
As a true freshmen, Hairston competed for the starting job when starting QB Taisun Phommachanh went down with a knee injury during the Mississippi State game. During the Miss State game, Hairston threw 7/11 completions for 62 yards and a touchdown, winning the starting job. He would finish his freshmen season with 40/73 completion attempts, totaling 480 yards and 5 TDs.
