Langbahn Team – Weltmeisterschaft

I'm done. These "pop-culture" debates are among the most moronic I've ever seen. AK-47 is the last straw.

For my part, Wikipedia was something I did to practice my writing skills. A perk was that I got to indulge in my firearms hobby somewhat. But the idiocy is insurmountable. I didn't come here to fight battles, but I find that's mostly what I do now. The moment I realized I was letting this jackassery get to me at all, I knew I was probably finished. I mulled it over for 15 minutes or so, then I knew for a fact I was finished.

90% of you have no idea what an encyclopedia is. People start with what they know, and from there search for what they don't. Not the other fucking way around. To you 90-percenters, Wikipedia is a playground. This is evidenced by the virtual mountain of guidelines and policies. More than half of them are akin to the tag inside of a costume cape that reads "Cape does not enable user to fly". It's only there because some jackass tried it.

Wikipedia is a wealth of good information. But for my part, participation is futile. I leave it to those with more tolerance, or in most cases, those with a desire for drama.

I've spent the past month or more sorting out half finished business such as the WPGUNS banner, the quality rating system, and some infobox work. I'm to a point where I feel I'm not leaving anyone hanging.

Why leave this rant behind? Because I'm pissed off about this. I used to enjoy Wikipedia, but it's all turned to aggravation over morons. I get enough of that at work.

Way of the world, eh? I'll find another hobby I'm sure.

I'm out. Have fun kiddies. Thernlund (Talk | Contribs) 21:42, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Try Citizendium. Much smaller but more civil. — Motorrad-67 22:15, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
