About me
Where I was
I was born on 30 March 1988 in Rangpur. In 1990, my family moved to Khulna where we spend more than six years. I had my first experience of school at the local Noorjahan Mahbub Govt. Primary School. We came to Dhaka in '96 and resided inside the Sangshad Bhaban area. I used to say "I lived in a house designed by Louis Kahn. I went to Gonobhaban Govt. High School the year I reached our nation's capital and from 1999 was an student of Dhanmondi Govt Boys' High School.
My Nicknames
Most of my friends calls me Tarif (means admiration). I got a family nick "Dheeman" meaning a man with patience of knowledge or something like that. Friends of Navana Garden used to call me Jose, meaning something like cool (may be HOT too ;)
My favourite
I have a lot to talk about favourites. My most favourite persons are my friends, specially my friends of DGBHS and those who I used to play with in the large fields of SB area. I am blessed with a couple of my friends during college life and in Kallyanpur. Favourite personalities are Rabindranath Tagore and I'm hugely influenced by Muhammed Zafar Iqbal. I am a pure fan of sports specially Cricket and Football. No other piece of history has influenced me more than Bangladesh Liberation War. I am exceptionally fond of music and movies with a diverse taste. I hear music from Rabindra Sangeet to Linkin Park. My favourite movies include Braveheart, Murder in the First, The Sound of Music, A Beautiful Mind, The Matrix, Pirates of the Caribbean and a numerous amount of so called lower budget cinemas.

Featured Article
One of my main moto in loging on to Wikipedia was to achieve FA status for Bengali Language Movement. The article got promoted into this status on July 15, 2007. I am glad to be in the league of extraordinary gentlemen (and ladies) who extensively improved the article. I am also thinking of promoting a few more to this status.
