Hi, I am Manan.

Belong to the magnanimous city of Mumbai, India. Like every Indian, I have my share of cricket-craziness (I am ok with Tendulkar scoring a century and India losing in a cricket match) and am Hindi movie buff to the core. Reading has been a pass-time since my hostel days. I drool over my Stamp & Stone Collection. Being a Mumbaikar, I follow stock-market as passionately as cricket. As a Gujarati, savoring mouth-watering sweets & spicy farshan(dhokla & fafda my favourites) comes naturally. An Electronics engineer from Mumbai University, My final year project brought me to Wikipedia to find (copy ) information for my final thesis.

Wiki-Conference, 2011 in Mumbai completely changed my perspective towards Wikipedia. I told myself 'hey, I too can contribute mahn'. That feeling is seriously bliss. I have switched from wasting time on social media platforms to gaining knowledge on Wikipedia and contributing in bits & pieces which is worth its every character.
