I am always under the pseudonym of 'Jaguar' on everything on the internet, whether it be the actual noun or a slight variation. My first ever edit on Wikipedia was in April 2008 as an IP. My compulsion to make an account came in June 2009, when I discovered an astonishing lack of coverage in the area I was interested in. I don't remember what I was doing then (I was 13 at the time), but judging from my contributions, I seemed to have completely forgot about Wikipedia until I rediscovered the place and started editing properly in April 2010. That was when I became a fully fledged contributor and started creating over two hundred stubs on various settlements. My work in mid 2010 was somewhat seclusive; I was still confined to expanding or creating a lot of articles related to that area.
I was initially put off because I had a lack of knowledge of Wikipedia's guidelines and my article-building skills weren't very admirable in my early teens, so I disengaged for a while. In a spare of the moment decision in September 2010, I founded WikiProject Wiltshire (the last county to have its own project). In January 2011, I got influenced with the Somerset project and improved content on a much larger scale, which ultimately helped me become a better editor. In late 2011 I got acquainted Dr. Blofeld, who inspired me to take a new line of editing, which I did throughout the rest of that year. I left Wikipedia briefly in November 2011 to focus on my last year of school and dealing with changes, but perhaps regrettably returned a few months later. Due to a dramatic experience in May 2012, I was compelled to leave Wikipedia and subsequently retired in July 2012. I became embittered by it all, but came back to life in early 2014, with still no idea why. I re-acquainted myself with old friends and focussed almost wholly on content.
My interest used to be video games. I enjoyed the simplicity of writing them, but have since moved on to topics of a more grandeur scope. These range from history (particularly the early 20th century; Pax Britannica, imperial Germany, and the Russian Revolution) to sociopolitical figures (particularly less blasé thinkers), old computer hardware, and most importantly - Hampshire villages. My general disillusionment with Wikipedia will never wane, but I believe that a difference can be made, if trod carefully.
villages, reviews and love of ideas
Thank you for quality articles such as Bentworth and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and for your reviews, winning the last GA Cup and serving as a judge on the next, for townships and villages, for a collections of moments and thanks, even to a god, for recognition of the 90s and your love of ideas, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!
Congratulations on reaching 100000 edits. You have achieved a milestone that only 345 editors have been able to accomplish. The Wikipedia Community thanks you for your continuing efforts. Keep up the good work!

It's not exactly easy to find errors or improvements in a well written and already thoroughly reviewed article; however, since you did and the changes were useful (they were applied to 3 other articles as well in some cases), here's a little something to show my appreciation. Thank you for all you have done to help me with the Boat Race articles. Tonight we hit a landmark, over 50% of the race articles are now Good or Featured Articles, which is a monumental achievement considering that none of the articles even existed eight months ago. I've done an awful lot of GA reviews recently, but the sheer volume and determination you have put in just leaves me seriously impressed. Hey Jaguar, just a quick barnstar to say thanks for the many reviews of Boat Race articles you've conducted over the past year. As of this morning, I completed my (initial) goal of ensuing that every Boat Race had, not only its own article, but one that was either of GA or FA status: we now have 158 GAs and 3 FAs that we can all be proud of! It doesn't stop here, for me at least, I'm going to keep up with improving the quality of the GAs and look for more FA opportunities. Plus, there's the small matter of 70 Women's Boat Race articles to get up and running! But thanks again, I couldn't have done it without your help. The Rambling Man (talk) 15:38, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
