Toftrees is a census-designated place[2] in Patton Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located 3.5 miles (5.6 km) northwest of the center of State College on the north side of Interstate 99/U.S. Route 322. The hilltop community surrounds the Toftrees Golf Resort. As of the 2010 census, the population of the community was 2,053.[3]

Demographics

As of the census[4] of 2020, there were 3,513 people, 1,308 households in the CDP. The population density was 3,992 inhabitants per square mile (1,541/km2). There were 2,139 housing units. The racial makeup of the CDP was 70.4% White, 5.6% Black or African American, 0.1% Native American, 17.9% Asian, 0.5% from other races, and 5.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.7% of the population.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $74,405. 15% of the population were living below the poverty line.
