Please retrieve only sourced data
Per this 2018 RFC, Wikidata values used in infoboxes must be sourced to reliable sources, which do not include Wikipedia itself. This template is not enforcing this requirement. In Baucau Municipality, for example, the time zone is retrieved from Wikidata, but that data is sourced to the Russian Wikipedia. I do not doubt that this particular piece of data is accurate, but please fix the Wikidata calls in this template. Instructions for requiring sourcing are available at Module:WikidataIB. – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:49, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
Please use the sandbox before editing!
Please, Exec8, your recent edits to this template are throwing out errors left and right – see Baucau Municipality's infobox. Such edits should be tested first in the sandbox. Thank you for your attention to this! P.I. Ellsworth - ed. put'r there 17:22, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
Thank you very much, Exec8! It looks like you have a good handle on Wikidata usages, so I wonder if you could look at the edit request at Template talk:Infobox settlement#Template-protected edit request on 28 February 2022 – label 85 and maybe help us with a solution? If not, that's okay, but it seems to be a really gnarly problem. Thanks again! P.I. Ellsworth - ed. put'r there 18:01, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
