The {{WikiProject Computing}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project.
Usage
While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

Parameters
Article assessment
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
- FA – The article has reached Featured article status.
- FL – The article has reached Featured list status.
- FM – The article has reached Featured media status.
- A – Could be submitted as a Featured article candidate; probably could use some small updates to make it Featured quality.
- GA – The article has reached Good article status.
- B – Could be submitted as a Good article nominee; probably could use some updates or may lack some features from the Good article criteria, but it presents a good overview of the subject.
- C – The article has an large amount of content, but lacks information and organization in areas.
- Start – The article is more than a stub, but may lack some important aspects of the topic's discussion.
- Stub – The article is a stub; it likely contains one of the articles in Category:Computing stubs.
- List – The page is a list.
- Needed – The article does not yet exist but has been identified as a subject that should be covered.
- Draft – The page is a work-in-progress on a computing-related subject still placed inside the Draft namespace.
- Category or Cat – The page is a category.
- Disambig or Dab – The article is a disambiguation page.
- File – The page is a file (image).
- Portal – The page is a portal.
- Project – The page is a WikiProject page.
- Redirect or Redir – The article is a redirect page.
- Template – The page is a template.
- NA – Any non-article page that fits no other classification.
- importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.

Taxonomic functions
- attention – "yes" if the article needs attention.
- auto – "yes" if the auto assess option is needed.
- listas – for example: "Last name, First name" if the article needs to be sorted by something other than PAGENAME.
- needs-image – "yes" if the article needs an image.
- imagedetails (appears only if needs-image is set to yes) - Additional details to describe the image that is requested.
- needs-infobox – "yes" if the article needs an infobox.

- amiga – "yes" if the article is supported by WikiProject Amiga
- amiga-importance – (Top|High|Mid|Low) a rating of the article's importance for WikiProject Amiga
