Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]This template creates a userbox that identifies you as an American meeting at least one of the following criteria:
- A current or retired employee of U.S. federal, state, or local government including police, firefighters, and teachers
- An active duty, reserve, or retired member of the United States Armed Forces
- A recipient of U.S. Veteran's Disability Compensation or Survivor's Benefits
- A student enrolled in a government supported public school, college, or university
- An inmate involuntarily incarcerated in a prison, jail, or mental institution
- A Social Security or Medicare recipient
- A Medicaid or social welfare assistance recipient
- A dependent child or adult
- A person poor enough to be exempt from U.S. federal income tax
