Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]
Template:IATA code for US with FAA generates a comment, together with a reference consisting of an external link to an airport information page at the Great Circle Mapper website. The comment specifies that the FAA and IATA codes differ, including the case when there is no assigned IATA code. The links are used as a reference in airport articles when a better source is not available online (such as a link to the Aeronautical Information Publication).
