Template:File template notice
Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]This template is placed on a category page to inform editors of how to add files to that category using a template.
Syntax
{{File template notice|Template name|parameter (optional)}}
The first parameter (template name) is required, while the second (parameter to be passed to the template) is not.
The |free=yes parameter prevents the template from including the __NOGALLERY__ behavior switch in the category. See WP:NFG for more info.
After obtaining consensus at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content, the code |free=exempt adds the category to Category:Wikipedia non-free content criteria exemptions.
