Talk:Yitzhak Rabin
Rabin's resignation in the 70's
Details regarding Rabin's resignation in the 70's are totally incorrect. Rabin was the Prime Minister of Israel until June 20, 1977, when - after 1977 general elections - the Knesset approved the new coalition headed by Menachem Begin!!!85.64.60.11 (talk) 09:47, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- Remember when he evacuated the freaking Sinai and you guys reacted by trying to blow up the temple mount to start a holy war, as well as several other acts of terrorism? The *Sinai*, the place the Jews never owned, and were forced to suffer and wander for 40 years. Leaving that just broke you guys brains completely! Maybe just don't mix nationalism and religion, and implement the theology of your nationalist ideology through murder?2601:140:8900:61D0:919E:FC0C:7C68:35F8 (talk) 15:56, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
Original name
In the Russian Empire, the surname of the father was spelled Рабичев (Rabichev) and that of the mother Каган (Kahan, Kagan). For this reason, the spelling Rubitzov and Cohen given in the article appear both inaccurate. Albeider (talk) 19:10, 16 July 2022 (UTC)

In this sentence:
Rabin was the first native-born prime minister of Israel and was the only prime minister to be assassinated and the second to die in office after Levi Eshkol.
Please change "Israel and was the" to "Israel, the"; and please add a comma after "assassinated". 123.51.107.94 (talk) 23:53, 27 September 2023 (UTC)

In this sentence:
among them U.S. president Bill Clinton, Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating, Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak and King Hussein of Jordan.
please add a comma after Mubarak. There's already a serial comma in use in the previous paragraph, "He was later tried, found guilty, and sentenced to life imprisonment." 123.51.107.94 (talk) 23:56, 27 September 2023 (UTC)

Overview of Offices Held Error
The overview of offices held section mentions Shimon Peres served in the role of leader of the Labor party twice. Shimon Peres' article mentions he served three times. I understand the purpose of this sentence is so Peres appearing twice in that table makes sense, however I question if this sentence is even necessary in an article about Rabin. Can not verify and NPOV
I’ve just removed some content from the Nobel Prize section (7 May 2024), because the content is not supported by the source.
From the page’s history, it seems that the content was originally added without any source. Later someone tagged it with the “citation needed” tag. Then, on 6 December 2016, a user who’s now banned indefinitely, added a source, with a quote and a page number (p.181), which seemed to have no relationship with the content:
All content added by that user may need checking. --Dustfreeworld (talk) 20:29, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
