I can’t, I don’t have the authority to do this. We can only hope that one of the editors of the article will indicate this source. Hikka1999 (talk) 19:47, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I accidentally made a mistake, I apologize. And I hope that in the template with losses the author Giustozzi, Antonio will be indicated as the upper limit for Taliban losses of 80k killed. 53k the number seems underestimated, yes, I understand the war ended unsuccessfully for the United States and the Afghan army, but I doubt that the Taliban’s losses are lower than the losses of the anti-Taliban coalition, but again, these are just my guesses. War has not ended, Afghan military Is still fighting Taliban as part of multiple resistance groups 93.150.81.140 (talk) 16:34, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, it should be a good idea for who is editing the page to use even the successive figures to determinate size, money and tree of taliban insurgency. Until now there is too much "i estimate, Brown State University estimate, it is thought that taliban....". 151.35.148.44 (talk) 16:56, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sir, Giustozzi numbers are from private Taliban sources in the years of 2002-2016 (excluding 2013). In figure at pag 263, there Is specifically the separate counts for Afghan citizens in Taliban ranks (80,000+) and pakistani citizens (15,000+). Can you please consider the source? 93.150.81.140 (talk) 16:38, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think the Pashto transliteration is wrong. ⟨جګړه⟩ would transliterate as ⟨jgṛh⟩. I'm not familiar enough with Pashto to know what/where the vowels are or if it includes some sort of grammatical suffix. Snowman304|talk06:21, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Civilian casualties
The same cited source updated its figure into 70,000[1] since may 2023
Under Belligerents for 2001, Iran is listed on the same side as the U.S and its allies. I don’t think that’s accurate. 73.5.167.225 (talk) 11:44, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
