For future editors
This document provides plenty of details on SUNYIT (2012) https://www.sunyit.edu/home5/cmsfiles/favicon.ico/SUNYITStrategicPlan2020.pdf --Polytech1 (talk) 21:31, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

I have been informed that the text brand and seal will be revealed sometime soon. A leading design firm has worked with the new colleges and the school itself and will release the info soon. --Dekema2 (talk) 17:35, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
- I have been told that official branding materials have been released. Upon further review they may be implemented into the article under WP:FAIR, that is if they can be done within these guidelines. Buffaboy talk 21:41, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
Multiple coordinates
Coordinates are for the Marcy campus only. If I read 'Template:Coord' correctly, for entities with multiple coordinates, coordinates should not be displayed in the title, nor by extension in the infobox. Suggestions? Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 10:21, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
Location
The SUNY Poly campus is located in both the city of Utica and the town of Marcy in upstate New York. The college utilizes a Utica address (100 Seymour Road, Utica, NY) and claims that even though the campus is located within both municipalities, that it is located in Utica. This can be found on their website, their correspondences, press releases, and even on their degrees they confer to graduating students. The Wikipedia article, however, states the college’s location is in Marcy. My questions is should Wikipedia keep the location as Marcy or should it be changed to Utica? 2603:7080:643D:27A7:F42E:53E4:DE6B:CA6F (talk) 21:33, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
- For some reason everything on Horatio St or Route 8/12 on the stretch south of Mulaney Rd uses Utica as the city and 13502 as the zip code in its address. I don't know if mail service there is a Utica route or if it's a marketing thing or what. If you look at the Utica city line, the campus (and the businesses on that stretch of route 12) is entirely north of it. I think the current wording could be tweaked, but the statement that it's located in Marcy with a Utica mailing address is correct. Apocheir (talk) 00:36, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
Distinguish the non-existing sunyit and the current suny poly.
it is misleading to delete the history of suny poly from 2014~2024 as the name "suny poly" has been reported by media and gov doc significantly with pos and neg info. Alain Karoyeros is officially marked as the founding President of SUNY Poly in 2014. So any information about before should be categories as SUNYIT not SUNY Poly Russeloa13502 (talk) 23:32, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
