First Driver?
"He thus became the first driver to score points in his first Grand Prix since his now team mate, Sebastian Vettel, did so at the 2007 United States Grand Prix."
Hamilton in 07? 3rd Place? Many other drivers have also scored points on their debut in the past. Where did this information come from?
I believe this means to read as he is the latest rookie to score championship points on debut, since Vettel last year and Hamilton. I have however removed this section so it can be reworded correctly by somebody else. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.108.56.210 (talk) 17:13, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Formula One driver v racing (or race car) driver
I have changed this as drivers are not, when you think about it, "N" series drivers. They are racing drivers who race in "Current" series, whatever they are racing at the time. Any questions, see me after. Britmax (talk) 08:46, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Leaving Toro Rosso?
- Has it been confirmed that Bourdais is leaving the team or is it just rumour? If its confirmed then yes you are right and it should be written that way, and a note should be added with a citation describing Bourdais' departure. If however this is based only on rumour, and the chatter amongst the commentators during the race, then it should be restored to what it was.
- Confirmation, not speculation. --Falcadore (talk) 10:13, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- its only a bloody rumour! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.92.159.228 (talk) 12:00, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Not anymore: http://www.tororosso.com/Team/Sebastien-Bourdais/News/Bourdais-Leaves-Scuderia-Toro-Rosso/
BBC Sport and Foxsports are both reporting it as well, so it's not even possible it's a bizarre crossed-wire deal. 121.208.19.160 (talk) 11:15, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Balance
Reading the Toro Rosso section one would think Bourdais was a massive success in F1. For some reason he wasn't. Why are we only mentioning his good weekends? --kingboyk (talk) 09:20, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
