I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 06:22, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • No DABs, external links good.
  • Image appropriately licensed.
  • Did its organization change over time? And can you document when those changes were made, if any were made?
  • Do you have any notable examples of combat between the Russian Corps and partisans? I understand that they had a mostly defensive role, but were they ever seriously attacked by partisan units?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:54, 26 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. To address your two questions: 1) Please explain what you mean by "organization". 2) No, to my knowledge no sources on the web describe clashes with the Partisans in great detail. However, they all say that clashes did occur in 1944 and that the corps fought the Red Army that same year. 23 editor (talk) 00:30, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You said that it had an organization of 1 Cavalry Regiment and 4 infantry regiments, but strength fluctuated greatly. Did the organization change over time as numbers went up and down?
What about books and such? Do they have any details on the unit's fights with Partisans?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 01:01, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No on both points. Unfortunately, this military unit isn't covered too much in historical literature and I haven't been able to find details about its clashes with the Partisans on Google Books. As for the organization, I haven't found any source that suggests that it changed from the 1 Cavalry Regiment and 4 infantry regiments already mentioned. 23 editor (talk) 20:11, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I've added a large portion of the information Tomobe03 sent. I'll add more of it tomorrow. 23 editor (talk) 20:24, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@Sturmvogel 66:, I've added all the information that Tomobe03 provided. What do you think? 23 editor (talk) 17:46, 12 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Looks much better, but a few points:

  • When talking about a specific unit like, forex, the 2nd Regiment, that's a proper noun and should be capitalized.
Done.
  • When giving date ranges use an endash, which is the shorter dash in the Wiki markup menu below the edit box.
Done.
  • You mentioned that the unit was split into 2 brigades, but say nothing about the 2nd Brigade. That needs to be discussed and as well as which regiments were incorporated into which brigade. And mention the split in the Order of Battle section.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:35, 12 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done (I think?) 23 editor (talk) 18:47, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What about the 2nd Brigade? Everything else is done.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:03, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Vertepov doesn't seem to have included any info on the 2nd Brigade in his book. 23 editor (talk) 20:17, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's disappointing.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 16:02, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
