Yo La Tengo
Can we mention the band Yo La Tengo? ~ Dpr 05:02, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
- The history of the phrase is already on the band's page. Would it be redundant to put it on here?--Spartacusprime 17:37, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
Picture (Lack Thereof)
A picture of the Baseball Hall of Fame? We can do better than that can't we?
Bill Campbell did not retire
Bill Campbell did not retire from the Phillies in 1971. He was fired by the Phillies due to pressure from the new beer sponsor, Christian Schmidt & Sons, Inc., as Campbell had done numerous advertisements for the previous beer sponsor, Ballantine Beer. Bill S. (talk) 01:01, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Fielding Excellence
Shouldn't there be a section about his fielding, fielding statistics and the controversy about them? It isn't that anyone doubts that he was a very good fielder but there is a dispute about whether the huge number of putouts he recorded very year is proof that he was truly extraordinary. Mays and Speaker, to name two, are always rated ahead of him as fielders but he caught more fly balls per year than either of them. Would we consider someone a better home-run hitter than another player if the other player hit more home runs? 65.79.173.135 (talk) 17:05, 19 March 2015 (UTC)Will in New Haven65.79.173.135 (talk) 17:05, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
