Ossu (East Timor)
Requested move 25 December 2024
Ossu (East Timor) → Ossu, Timor-Leste – It is doubtful that "Ossu (East Timor)" is the official name of this populated place. It is also possible that "Ossu" alone is sufficient, since the only other entry in the disambiguation page Ossu has a diacritic in its name: Õssu. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 22:42, 25 December 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - Support to Ossu with the DAB page being deleted per WP:SMALLDETAILS. A hatnote should cover any confusion. Turnagra (talk) 02:51, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Could be moved to the base name as East Timor one has 44 views compared with only 9 for the Estonia one but note that per SMALLDETAILS the absence of the diacritics probably doesn't distinguish as English readers are unlikely to know to type diacritics. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:44, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- Comment this should be held, and continue to be relisted until Wikipedia:Move review § Timor-Leste has been resolved, as that would impact this discussion. TiggerJay (talk) 05:10, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose Ossu. No clear primary topic between Ossu (East Timor), Õssu, and possibly Ossu Administrative Post (page views for reference: [1]). I agree with Crouch, Swale on SMALLDETAILS here. I'm fine with the proposed use of a comma. The country name should be consistent with however the move review and potentially reopened RM turn out. Adumbrativus (talk) 08:17, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
