ConnorMcCasson is insisting that the following entry be removed from the "Notable alumni" list of this article:

• Derek Chauvin - former Minneapolis police officer and convicted murderer, known for his role in the murder of George Floyd

In their most recent removal, they provided this edit summary: "Removed Derek Chauvin from Notable Alumni. Metro State's community draws from a largely minority community, who are continually traumatized by the presence of this individual on a page otherwise discussing our university." That explanation blatantly violates our WP:NPOV policy and I have reverted their attempts to remove this information. ElKevbo (talk) 21:16, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
