I recently added an abbreviation to this page that I found in several German dictionaries, and I provided a source which defines it as such, but I do not like the source that I provided, as it is choked with ads, and not necessarily reliable. This page also has a blog site as one of its primary sources, which frankly seems a bit odd. That all having been said, I think that I will continue looking for a more academic source. A slight issue is that there are not many scholarly sites which clearly list and define German abbreviations. Someone even cited ancestry.com, which is locked behind a paywall.
