I think it's because the initial post on this page included a transclusion of the entire WikiProject LGBTQ+ talk page, including signatures of anyone that posted there. • Oppose move; delete instead - I don't see where creating set index articles at "LGBTQ topics in foo" was ever discussed. The standardization proposed was creating a WP:BROADCONCEPT article at "LGBTQ people in foo" for each country (e.g., LGBTQ people in Mexico). Set indexes and broad concept articles apply in different situations, and the latter is appropriate here.
