Belgium
Belgium has been listed as confirmed with article on Dutch fansite as a source [1]. However, according to this article, the broadcaster will decide on whether to take part in the contest 2010 or not only after 2009 event is completed, article does not confirm Belgian participation in 2010 show. Probably, as soon as it is officially confirmed a preselection regulations will be published on Een website. So, I'm removing it for now. AlexeyU (talk) 08:44, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Yesterday, VRT confirmed its participation. There is a new link to prove it. I erased Cyprus and the Netherlands on the list, because there were no references to prove their participation. There can only be posted new countries if there is a source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.64.255.123 (talk) 16:47, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Romania and others
Why did Romania confirmed to participate for a few weeks and suddenly they're gone? At other wikipedia sites you see that also FYR Macedonia confirmed their participation. And some sites says Azerbaijan, Moldova, Hungary, Lithuania, Serbia. Anyone information about those countries? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.205.73.239 (talk) 15:01, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Sourcing
Why does the sourcing here ALWAYS get changed to ESCKaz? Previous sources have been fine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.5.122.103 (talk) 17:46, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
As per decided in early discussion at WikiProject:Eurovision in July 2009, ESCKAZ is "Semi reliable" source for referencing Eurovision Song Contest articles (only ESCToday is considered fully "Reliable" per that decision), however, most of the members have agreed that currently this is the primary original source of the referencing for Junior Eurovision pages (after official JuniorEurovision.tv site of course). ESCDaily is the new site and you can initiate discussion on it's reliability in the WikiProject page, however, it's parent site ESCTime has been voted "Not reliable" and currently ESCDaily articles on JESC are mostly reprints of ESCKAZ articles on the same subject, that makes it secondary source. ESCKAZ also has experience of several years working with Junior Eurovision, reports on major issue quicker and in more details than official site, while I also can point out to the number of factual mistakes in ESCDaily articles and they are not as detailed as other sources. The discussion has clearly shown that reliability of the content is the issue and not the "prettyness" of the design. Unless there is a concensus I will be reverting sourcing of JESC articles away from ESCDaily to ESCKAZ. Also, it is not like "previous sources" and "changed to ESCKAZ", rather than "changed to ESCDaily" and indeed previous sources have been fine. AlexeyU (talk) 19:31, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
