I have searched for reliable sources identifying Jonathan Dollimore as a philosopher. I am perfectly happy for the article to describe Dollimore as a philosopher if such sources can be found. So far I have found only this, which is a source of uncertain reliability, and this, in Times Higher Education. It describes Dollimore as a "philosopher and social theorist", but since the Wikipedia article has used that exact description of Dollimore in the past I suspect the author of the article simply copied the information from Wikipedia.
