Merge Proposal

A merge proposal tag was added to this page, suggesting a merge of this page with digital literacy. I did not place the tag, but I Support a merge of Electracy and digital literacy as these topics have a large degree of overlap. Dialectric (talk) 01:29, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with the merge and reinstated the page. The original discussion for including this page in the first place dealt with some of these issues. rsmyth (talk) 13:54, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The merger was proposed in March of 2012 and carried out two months later so you had plenty of time to register opposition. You're welcome to raise the issue anew if you believe Electracy should be its own article and I've begun a section here to discuss it. ElKevbo (talk) 19:16, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Article was reinstated after discussion on Digital literacy talk page. ElKevbo suggested that we reference that discussion here. He also suggested adding a section to this page called "How electracy differs from digital literacy" to avoid future suggestions to merge. 04:05, 21 January 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rsmyth (talk • contribs) [reply]
