Talk:Earth Day

Some credit for bringing environmental concerns into the mainstream should be given to the 21 March 1970 (one month before Earth Day) broadcast of A Clear and Present Danger, the pilot episode of NBC's The Bold Ones series. "The son of a U.S. Senator takes on the cause of clean air when a friend dies of emphysema." I have no idea how many viewers the show had, but it must have been substantial and relatively upscale. NBC had promoted it heavily, and it had a prestigious cast including Hal Holbrook, E.G. Marshall, Joseph Campanella, Jack Albertson, Pat Hingle, and Jeff Corey. https://youtube.com/watch?v=3U-li8oddqM https://imdb.com/title/tt0065558/ 2600:2B00:870D:3F00:A842:7E7B:F727:D6BE (talk) 14:56, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. JTP (talk • contribs) 21:19, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Under section Criticisms, fix grammar mistake by changing "it's continued, repetitious existence" to "its continued, repetitious existence". Triinusingu (talk) 10:20, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Trying to change history?

No mention of Ira Einhorn? Wonder why? 🤔 216.47.33.125 (talk) 01:17, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

He is listed in the "See also" section A. Randomdude0000 (talk) 01:27, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You would think being he was a co founder, you would mention that in the main page where founders are listed. 216.47.33.125 (talk) 02:57, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, you only claim on his page that this directs you to( that he was a “speaker” at the first earth day. No mention that he was co founder. Yet another example of the he inaccuracies here I guess. 216.47.33.125 (talk) 03:18, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
