As per following source Date of death for Pratima Gaonkar seems to be 'Tuesday 9 October 2001 evening'
Came here from your post @ WT:WOMRED . About date of death google search lead me to a dead link @ Athletics in India there on visit archive.org back to google etc. gave me following 2 news report links
https://m.goanews.com/news_details.php?id=6 ".. After reaching Goa on 7 October attending Inter-Zonal Athletic Championship in Kanpur, Pratima's body was found in a well behind her house on a hillock in Dabhal, a remote village in Eastern Goa, on 9 October. .."
Confirmed with google search calendar 9 October 2001 happens to be Tuesday.
(The same reporter does not seem to be consistent enough about the 'athlete's age' at the time of death; in first report he seems to mention 19 and in the later 18. Though inconsequential to date of death, this is just for info about age )
Title though not a majior issue, one thought came to my mind whether 'Death of Pratima Gaonkar' will be suitable title or 'Pratima Gaonkar' itself.
On side note @ WP:Teahouse#BLP dates related policies and guidelines? Actually I was looking for some information about ".. Are there any help/ policy/ guideline / MoS/ essay articles or previous discussions regarding dates mentioned in BLP articles such as Birth / marriage / death dates. .." specially when we are not certain about date. (For example in above two news reports different different age is mentioned.) Is there any MoS for such situations?
