Trying to make sense of this

I deleted the second sentence in this paragraph because it is too convoluted to be comprehensible:

In 1892, Candler set out to incorporate a second company; "The Coca-Cola Company" (the current corporation). When Candler had the earliest records of the "Coca-Cola Company" burned in 1910, the action was claimed to have been made during a move to new corporation offices around this time.[1]

That deletion was reverted. Rather than deleting it again I put the call out for someone to figure out the intent and edit it to make sense.

== In how many countries is Coke sold ? ==

There are at most 195 countries in the world today. So, per the first sentence of this Coke wiki, Coke can't be sold in "...over 200..." 98.151.50.152 (talk) 15:20, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Boycott over Israel-Palestine Conflict"

This new subsection must be removed unless you bring in documented proof (from reliable sources) of two things: that there really was a 23% sales drop, AND that the drop was really caused by this boycott and not by other factors.

Any source that promotes boycotting Coca-Cola is automatically not reliable, because for obvious reasons they would benefit from giving biased information. If they quote some reliable source themselves, then provide that reliable source here; don't provide the biased source who's quoting it. TooManyFingers (talk) 17:46, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the edit that created this subsection, and I informed the editor on their talk page that they can restore it when they have reliable proof. TooManyFingers (talk) 20:15, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
