Yeah, I changed the line saying that the Chicago hardcore scene developed in gay bars to one detailing how it developed in local venues and bars. Saying that hardcore punk developed in gay bars is not only completely inaccurate, but a clear sign that this article was written with little/no connection to the Chicago hardcore scene, then or now.
I removed a whole swath of spam and replaced it with Template:DMOZ. The path that I linked to isn't the best, but it's preferable to the spam.
