How large was this force at its peak? Bastie 09:33, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Is anything known about the activities of the post WW 1 (1919-1929) force - operations against revolutionaries, Freikorps, in the Baltic states, intervention in the Russian Revolution, etc.? Barney Bruchstein (talk) 13:01, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
What does the "Army" stand for here?
What does the "Army" in the "British Army of the Rhine" mean? Is it a field army-level unit, or simply an army garrison? Howard61313 (talk) 15:09, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- It means that it is the part of the British Army located in the general area of the Rhine. Thus it's not an indication of size. Buckshot06 (talk) 20:00, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- Buckshot06 - not totally correct!. 'British Army of the Rhine' was actually an official command, in a similar vein to Royal Air Force Germany. Regards. Militum professio scriniarii (talk) 02:34, 7 December 2024 (UTC)

Of or On?
I always thought the name was British army ON the Rhine.
Yet here it is always OF. A search online shows I am not the only one.
Even if OF is official (is it?) then the widely used alternative should at least get a mention. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.144.31.66 (talk) 17:40, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
Tense
First sentence Stope (talk) 05:30, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
- Should “is” be “was” or should the first sentence be reworded? A historical piece about a unit that passed into history in 1994… Stope (talk) 05:32, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
- I have changed it to "was" but I think either tense would have been OK. Please feel free to improve the wording. Dormskirk (talk) 09:46, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
