I reworded the "native to the United States" line in the opening paragraph since it's clearly not a native animal, having been deliberately bred from European breeds, and secondly supposing it was native it would be native to a geographical area (e.g. North America) not a political state. --85.211.222.96 (talk) 20:00, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
