Images
Hi folks,
There's a distinct lack of images on the article at present. A good source is geograph.org.uk. I was thinking this image might want to take the infobox, or occupy the Governance section. --Jza84 | Talk 19:22, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Population
In the article, it says the population was 35K (as of 2011), but now in 2018, it's probably 3 or more times that amount. Can someone please update the population? The population of this place is way, WAY more than 35K. 92.17.190.188 (talk) 18:00, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comment, however so far as I an see, you are mistaken. The mid-2016 estimated population figure for the wider Hyndburn area is only 80,500 (less than 2.5 times that amount). As Accrington is the largest of 13 populated places listed in Hyndburn, another four of which are classified as towns, the Office for National Statistics figure seems plausible.
