= Impossible Synthesis
Destructive nitration of triazine tricarboxylic acid will lead to 2,4,6-trinitro triazine (nice compound, eh?), NOT to the title compound. Nitration don't create trinitromethyl groups! So what can we do? React cyanuric chloride with nitroformate ions, thus replacing chloride by trinitromethyl.---FK1954 (talk) 12:39, 25 December 2021 (UTC)
