I notice, no storms have any indication of any damage or anything. I suggest before GAN that impact be added, be it from Lexis Nexis or Google News or Reliefweb. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:24, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- There is no impact from Google News or RW. I checked when I was doing the article. Otherwise, I would have included it. YE Pacific Hurricane 21:54, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- This article should also note the basin boundary change.Jason Rees (talk) 22:02, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

- It would also be nice to see some images of the cyclones.Jason Rees (talk) 23:27, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello Yellow Evan, I will be reviewing this article.--12george1 (talk) 04:22, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- "The 1984–85 South-West Indian Ocean cyclone season was an average cyclone season." - Since this is not mentioned outside the lede, a citation is needed to prove that it was an "average cyclone season". Btw, what is the criteria for a season in this section of the Indian Ocean to be considered "average" (i.e. x of tropical cyclones, x number of MTSs/STSs, etc.)?
- Added in the SS. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "Tropical cyclones in this basin are monitored by the Regional Specialised Meteorological Centre in Réunion." - Wikilink both "tropical cyclone" and "Réunion" here.
- Done. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "The first stormed formed in mid-November, though it was not officially named." - "stormed formed"?
- "A few weeks later, the first official storm of the year (Anety) formed." - Eh, that's kinda subjective and somewhat inaccurate. In the storms section below, 01S dissipated on November 17, while Anety developed on November 20. That is 3 days, not 2-3 weeks!
- Changed to days. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "developed in a short period of time in early to mid February." - "mid February" to "mid-February"
- Done. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "Following the season, the boundary for the basin was extended to 90°." - 90° what?
- "According to the JTWC, a tropical depression formed on November 9." - Where was this? In the Arctic Ocean near Franz Josef Land?
- Added. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "and at 000 UTC on November 14, it fell to a depression" - Missing a zero and wikilink UTC.
- Good call. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "Early on November 20, the JTWC reported that a tropical depression had developed." - Again, at least give a remotely more specific location.
- Eh, it gets redundant after a while. We have a track map after all
- "as it had moved onshore northern Madagascar." - Wikilink Madagascar
- Done. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "While making its closest approach to the African continent, the storm resumed weakening while turning back southeast." - Not sure about your geography skills, but Madagascar is part of the African continent. This means that Anety technically struck the "African continent" when it made crossed Madagascar. Maybe substitute "the African continent" with "Mozambique"?
- I just said mainland. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "a tropical cyclone developed in extreme western portion of the Australian basin." - Why is tropical cyclone wikilinked here?
- Done. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "Well away from land, the JTWC reported that a tropical disturbance developed on January 1." - Again with the location
- See above and I give a remotely location. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "However, this trend was short lived and that evening, the JTWC stopped monitoring the system." - What date was this?
- Mention in previous sentence. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "Severe Tropical Storm Ditra originated from a tropical depression that the JTWC first warned on January 26." - Wanna guess what's missing here? :P
- See above. It would get redundant saying it was X miles from Diego Garcia.
- Judging by Esitera's section, it appears that the storm did not make landfall anywhere?
- The tracks are from the JTWC, whose BT does not exist for that storm. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "On February 11, MFR reported that a moderate tropical storm formed far from land." - Be more specific about the location (that is the answer to the comment before the previous one, btw).
- Ill be nice and be clearer here
- "That night Felsika was re-upgraded into a moderate tropical storm as it made landfall along northeastern Madagascar" - Why wait until now to wikilink landfall?
- I believe this is the first time this article I mention it. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "On April 10, MFR reportedly classified a low far from any land masses." - You did it again! :P
- Again, see above. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- "At that time, 000 UTC April 14," - Missing a zero. Well, at least this isn't about the location :P
- Done. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- For references 4-11, the first author has their name as Knapp, K. R. (Last name first, then first and middle initial), while the other authors names are formatted like this: M. C. Kruk (first and middle initial, then last name).
- So is this formatted like that. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- I may have more comments later--12george1 (talk) 04:22, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- Never mind, I have nothing else. Anyway, I am gonna pass this and list it as a GA.--12george1 (talk) 16:46, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
