I still have to add some more stuff to the article, although I also hope that others with an interest will do so as well.
This is a national organization with chapters in many cities. Several famous people are members. It has been mentioned in many news articles.
I am still working on the article. Please give me a few more days to make these additions. Thank you.

- I would recommend adding a few of those news articles ASAP. Your best bet would be ones from major media outlets like the NY Times, Washington Post, Time Magazine, BBC News, you know, stuff like that. Precious Roy 16:32, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
- OK. That's a good idea. Thanks. I'll do that now. Grundle2600 17:57, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

I'm not a member of this organization. I'm not even black. I just think it's interesting, that's all. Grundle2600 18:21, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
110 chapters
If there are only 100 black men and 110 chapters, does that mean some of them belong to more than one chapter? Sarsaparilla (talk) 05:44, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Ha ha! That's clever and funny. I think the idea is that each chapter desires to have at least 100 members. Grundle2600 (talk) 05:43, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Correction to First President listing?
This article currently lists the first President of the national organization as "Nathaniel Goldstien". I believe this is incorrect.
Firstly, the official website (https://100blackmen.org/) lists a "Nathaniel Goldston III" as one of the founding members of the New York chapter so it's at least a typo.
However, I believe the first President of the national organization was actually Dr. William H. Hayling. This is based on part in this obituary announcement on their official website.
→"Dr. Hayling was one of the influential forces that established 100 Black Men as a national and International organization. He was an obvious choice to be our first national President."
This man was a neighbor of my parents, which is what got me involved in investigating his life and legacy.
As a result, I believe this page needs to be updated. This is my first experience editing a Talk page so not sure what the next step is.
