The SFC120-V series is an electric multiple unit manufactured by CRRC Qingdao Sifang in Qingdao, Shandong, China.^[1][2] KAI Commuter began receiving these trains on January 31, 2025 via Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta. The EMU is planned to be operated by KAI Commuter on the Bogor and Cikarang Lines.^[3]

To assess the operational feasibility and prepare for type test certification by the Directorate General of Railways under the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, the SFC120-V series EMU has been undergoing dynamic testing since February 10, 2025. The trial is being carried out on the Bogor-Jakarta Kota railway line.^[4]

The SFC120-V series EMU is known among train enthusiasts because the design of the front resembles the shape of a Flowerhorn cichlid, and is equipped with red pantographs.^{[citation needed]}
