Paul Matthews Cleveland (August 25, 1931 – November 21, 2024) was an American diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa from 1986 to 1989 and as the United States Ambassador to Malaysia from 1989 to 1992.[1][2][3]

He died on November 21, 2024, in McLean, Virginia at age 93.[4]
