Liberty Barros (born 1 December 2007) is an English contortionist and social media personality.[1] She is considered as one of the most flexible persons in the world.[2][3] She has three Guinness World Records to her name, including one for the highest number of backbends.[4] A contortion pose called "Liberty Low Down" has been named after her.[2] She was featured on the front cover of the Guinness World Records 2024 book.[5]
Early life
Liberty Barros, born 2007 to parents Raam and Elisette, is originally from Leicester and later lived in Slough and Peterborough.[6][7][8]
Career
At an early age, Barros discovered her extreme flexibility, when she was replicating some dance moves from many celebrities like Rihanna in her music video Umbrella. Later, she has become worldwide famous for her flexibility, and has appeared on Britain's Got Talent and Spain’s Got Talent, as well as running a popular YouTube channel,[2] which has earned her more than 1.8 million viewers to as of April 2024.[4][9]
