Keeper is an upcoming American horror film written by Nick Lepard and directed by Osgood Perkins. It stars Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland. The film is set to be released by Neon in the United States and Elevation Pictures in Canada on October 3, 2025.

Premise

Keeper follows a couple embarking on a romantic anniversary retreat to a remote cabin. When Malcolm (Sutherland) abruptly departs for the city, Liz (Maslany) is left alone. During her solitude, she encounters a malevolent force that reveals the disturbing secrets hidden within the cabin.[1]

Production

In May 2024, Keeper was announced as a film for sale at the Cannes Film Market, with Osgood Perkins directing from a screenplay written by Nick Lepard. Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland were attached to star in the film, and Chris Ferguson and Jesse Savath were producing for Oddfellows.[1] The film had wrapped production by July 2024.[2]

Release

At the 2024 Cannes Film Market, distribution rights were sold to Neon in United States and Elevation Pictures in Canada. Neon also purchased the worldwide rights as it expanded into international distribution sales.[3] The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on October 3, 2025.[4]
