DescriptionTown entrance sign, Lochiel, South Australia.jpg
English: Town entrance sign, Lochiel, South Australia. Lochiel is adjacent to Lake Bumbunga, where salt is harvested. The horses depicted are pulling a "salt scrape" used in early days; the top area represents the hills on the side of the lake and the middle shows the pink colour of the water. The low wall at the front has a representation of a humorous sculpture in the lake, "Loch Eel", which is visible from the northern approaches to the township.
