As the film takes place entirely inside one room, a gymnasium, the image demonstrates the general look of the film. Additionally, one of the easels displaying a photograph of the very same room is visible, serving to help visually demonstrate for readers the recursive effect that the film achieves through the use of said "self-repeating" photographs. Finally, the image is useful for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work from which it is sourced. The image helps the user quickly identify the work and know they have found what they are looking for. Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork, namely the creators involved in the film, and in turn any marketing or distribution of the film. |
