| Description | English: This was one of the announcements for Organism, a large interdisciplinary gathering that took over the Old Dutch Mustard Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 1993. The all night event was formulated by Ebon Fisher as a “web jam,” which involved the cultivation of overlapping cultural systems. Situated in a multicultural neighborhood, the announcement translated “Organism” into Mandarin, Polish, English and Spanish. Fisher designed the announcement with the assistance of Esther Yun. |
