Deutsch: Opel Twin, Prototyp von Opel im Jahr 1992. bei dem die Antriebseinheit Batterie und Elektromotor für Langstrecken durch einen herkömmlicher 3-Zylinder-Verbrenungsmotor ausgetauscht werden kann.

In der Elektrovariante wird der Viersitzer (1+3) von zwei Radnabenmotoren von 14 PS (also 28 PS) angetrieben, die dem Auto eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 120 km/h ermöglichen. Mit den damaligen Batterien von 29 kWh Ladekapazität beträgt die Reichweite 200 km.

Die Verbrennungsmotoreinheit leistete ein Ottomotor von 800 Kubikzentimeter 34 PS und erreicht mit dem 20 Liter-Tank bei 3,5 Liter Verbrauch auf 100 km eine Reichweite über 500 km. Das Foto habe ich im Oktober 2008 im Museum Autovision, Altlußheim aufgenommen, wo der Opel Twin als Sonderausstellung bis März 2009 ausgestellt ist.
