English: Linne statue on University of Chicago campus. After Frithiof Kjellberg (Swedish, 1836-1885): Carl von Linné Monument, 1891, (copy of the original located in the Humlegarden in Stockholm), unveiled in Lincoln Park on May 23, 1891, anniversary of Linné's birth, moved to Midway Plaisance (South of E. 59th Street between S. Ellis Avenue and S. University Avenue) in 1976.[1] Next to the Harper Memorial Library, University of Chicago, Illinois, United States.
