A stunning, old-time halite crystal from a classic German locality - Stassfurt, Saxony-Anhalt. The beautiful azure-blue color banding is amazing. Rarely do you find halite in a form other than cubes or octahedrons, so this very sharp clear tabular crystal is truly a gem in its own right aside from being gemmy per se. It is sharper and even more lustrous in person. Complete all around.
