Ghaffirs in Nesher, small settlement near Haifa, Israel עברית: הגפירים היו נוטרים אשר השתייכו למשטרת המנדט ופעלו במאורעות 1936-1939 (תרצ"ו-תרצ"ט). בתמונה הגפירים מהיישוב נשר שליד חיפה. בעקבות תקיפת האוטובוסים שהסיעו את הפועלים למפעל, נענה מיכאל פולק בעל בית חרושת נשר לבקשות הפועלים לממן את החזקתם של 12 "גפירים". השלטונות הבריטיים ספקו לגפירים רובים ומדים. |
