DescriptionCorstorphine station site geograph-3156187-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg
English: Site of Corstorphine station, 1988.
View eastward, towards Edinburgh: ex-NBR terminus of the branch from Edinburgh Haymarket, which was closed in 1/68. In earlier days the short Corstorphine branch had a local passenger service which was often provided with main-line stock from expresses coming into Edinburgh Waverley from the south. By 1988 the station had been swept away, so an element of guesswork must be attached to this photograph.
