Diademed head right / Cult statue of Hadad standing facing on double basis, holding barley stalk, flanked by two bull foreparts; in exergue, monograms flanking date; all in laurel wreath. SC 2472A (this coin referenced and illustrated). Good VF, rough surfaces. Unique.
This coin is the latest dated issue of Antiochos XII known, as well as the only silver coin known to bear his epithet Dionysos, which otherwise occurs only on Antiochos’ bronze issues.
