Football Club Yala (Thai สโมสรฟุตบอลยะลา), is a semi professional football club based in Yala, Thailand.[1] The club is currently playing in the Thai League 3 Southern region.

History

The club was formed and registered on 4 August 2018 in Yala as the southernmost football club in Thailand.[2] It initially competed in Thailand Amateur League Southern region. They were promoted to Thai League 4 in the end of season.[3][4][5]

In 2019, the club competed in Thai League 4 Southern region and finished in the 5th place.[6][7][8]

In 2022, Jalor City competed in the Thai League 3 for the 2022–23 season. It is their 4th season in the professional league. The club started the season with a 0–1 away defeat to Trang[9] and they ended the season with a 2–0 home win over Trang.[10] The club has finished 10th place in the league of the Southern region. In addition, in the 2022–23 Thai FA Cup Jalor City was defeated 0–3 by Rajpracha in the second round, causing them to be eliminated[11] and in the 2022–23 Thai League Cup Jalor City was defeated 0–1 by Phatthalung in the first qualification round, causing them to be eliminated too.[12]

In 2023, Jalor City renamed to Yala.[13]
