Silkcity Express (Train No. 753/754) is one of the intercity trains operated by Bangladesh Railways. The train travels between Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, and Rajshahi, the oldest city of Bangladesh and the cleanest metropolis in the western region. It is a luxurious and modern intercity train. The train was launched on 14 August 2003. Silkcity Express used to run with modern luxury LHB coaches imported from India, but now the train has started running with new Chinese coaches.
