Draft:Gravity Compressor

  • Comment: The first two sources are secondary, and appear to be okay, but the rest are close primary ones which do not contribute towards notability. We normally require 3+ acceptable sources, so this falls somewhat short of that. DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:22, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: No reason to put an external link to enairon within the body of the article. Does not currently contain enough significant, independent coverage as expected of Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Utopes (talk / cont) 22:57, 25 April 2024 (UTC)

A Gravity Compressor is a mechanical device that increases the pressure of a gas by reducing its volume. A Gravity Compressor is a specific type of gas compressor that utilizes a fluid and gravity to compress air. The technology have been developed by a Swedish company called Enairon AB[1][2][3][4], and is marketed under the product name Enairon Gravity Compressor 400 MVSD-7.[5]. Unlike traditional compressors, the Gravity Compressor's design features spirally arranged channels where water acts as pistons, using gravity to compress the air. Some of the first prototypes were developed and demonstrated at Chalmers University of Technology dept. physics during 2017 to 2018 where very good efficiency results were observed[6]. This innovative approach results in a compression process that is both remarkably cool and efficient[7]
